“Fair enough”是一句蠻口語化的話，它是用來表示「認同/接受對方所說的話」的意思。

(1)A: I took the garbage out last night. It’s your turn today.A: 我昨晚丟了垃圾，今天輪到你。

B: Fair enough.B: 好啦。

(2)A: Are you done with the report?A: 報表做好了嗎?

B: I need a bit more time. I was in a meeting this morning.B: 我需要多一點時間，我早上在開會。

A: Ok, fair enough. Please finish it by the end of the day.A: 了解，請今天內把它完成。

在某些情況，”Fair enough”的意思是「你原本沒有很認同對方的行爲或論點，可是聽了對方的解釋後，覺得可以理解和接受」。

(3)A: I can’t go to your birthday party this weekend.A: 這週末我不能去你的生日趴。

B: Oh, why? I really want you there.B: 為甚麼啊? 我很想你來呢。

A: My dog is sick, so I have to take care of him.A: 我的狗狗病了，我要照顧牠。

B: Fair enough.B: 好吧。

(4)A: Why did you eat at that restaurant? Their service is so bad.A: 爲甚麼你去那家餐廳吃喔? 他們的服務超差的。

B: Someone gave me a gift certificate, so the meal was free.B: 有人給我一張禮券，所以餐點免費。

A: Ok, fair enough.A: 了解。

(5)A: Let’s go out for dinner tonight. What do you think?A: 今晚出去吃飯吧，你覺得如何?

B: No, we still have leftovers from last night.B: 不要啦，還有昨天晚上的剩菜喔。

A: Fair enough.A: 好吧。

(6) Most employers want to cut costs, which is fair enough, but they shouldn’t sacrifice their employees to do it.大部份的僱主都想減低成本，這是很合理的，可是他們不應該因此而剝削員工的福利。
